Arden turned THREE a week ago. How is that possible?
She's doing well, sassy as always. She requested trucks for her birthday and boy did people deliver, she is the proud owner of 4 (or more) new serious trucks as well as a matchbox track and car set that she absolutely loves. And that her dear Uncle and Mandy put together on the night of her birthday. Boy were we relieved not to have to do that!
She continues to have a seriously independent streak, which isn't exactly surprising, is it?
We're terrible at tracking milestones, but she talks a mile a minute and her brain is a scary, scary place that never forgets anything. Anything. She went to Fenway twice this summer, once for a game and once for the kids day at the park they do every year. She's a big fan of baseball. She started swimming this summer at the local Y and has absolutely no fear of the water. She jumps in without any thought...tells us to scoot back....is an underwater champ. Formal swim lessons will probably happen this fall, after all, we're training for her scholarship to Stanford (and the 2020 Olympics).
We head to Disney World this week -- we're pretty sure she won't want to leave. She constantly asks to go back to Canobie, which is just up the street from us. The kid loves her rides.
**I've uploaded pics and for whatever reason they are in a really screwy order...but it's a look at her 3rd birthday.Comments:Kate & Eric: Get OUT. We were at DisneyWorld from 8/26 - 9/2. Michael LOVED it. ! :) Hope you guys have a great trip!joyleone@aol.com: Have a great time at Disney. It is hard to believe that Arden is 3. She is so cute. Love, Joy and JAckshelli: Happy Birthday, big girl!Add a comment:
