FUNNY STORY!
(Background: Arden's daycare thought yesterday that she might have pink eye. Therefore, she wasn't allowed back without a note from the doctor. We saw no sign of it but off we went to the ped this morning!)
We saw Tina, one of our two favorite nurse practitioners. She immediately said nope, no pink eye, but let's take a look at everything, ears since she's had a history of infections.
As she's getting ready to look in Arden's ears she says "let's look for the birdies!"
She starts to look in Arden's ears saying "where are the birdies?"
To which Arden responds..."outside"
With a tone that I'm sure we will hear many times when she is a teenager...i.e. 'outside, you moron, why would they be in my ears?'
