Happy 18 Months to Arden today! My how time flies...

Her second three word sentence is "where is it?"

She has figured out how to put on her shoes. Well, her brown shoes anyway. On and velcroed at that! Usually she just puts one on and then goes around the house with one shoe and and one shoe off for the rest of the evening. And boy are we no fun when we make her take that shoe off to put her foot in the foot of her sleeper.

I'm proud to say she's a lover of Broadway. We are currently listening to "Wicked" in the car and oh how she loves it. And Dora rode with us and heard the love...haha! She always cheers and claps at the end of each song. Ah, she is my child after all! :-)

    THE HOUSE OF SICKNESS

We are the house of sickness. Going on THREE WEEKS. I finally started to feel better this past weekend, then Monday night started to feel it on the attack again. It's Friday and I've got no voice and am congested beyond belief. What fun this is.

Arden was banned from daycare from Tues at 11 through Wednesday because of a stomach bug. If it's not one thing...

She's just a little chatterbox these days. I've lost track of everything she can say, but she answers questions now when you ask her things. It's hilarious. And she's been stringing two words together for awhile now. "Up please" is one such phrase. Now we just need to work on thank you ;-).

We also spend a lot of time dancing around the house. She's VERY good at following directions. A couple of weeks ago I started saying up, reaching my hands up...and "down" and squatting. Now she does this as part of her dance routine. Gifted...no? :-) She has whole repetoire that involves turning, kicking, up/down and then of course, the usual shaking of the groove thang.

We've got video and now that Uncle Clay has built us a new computer (he can do this...and he's starting a business -- BAKU TECHNOLOGIES), we can upload A's dance videos. I will do that this weekend.

Still no new pictures thanks to our broken camera. Ay ay ay!!

So that's the news from these parts!!!
