17 weeks 3 days
I could have sworn I updated this page yesterday. I must be losing it.
ANYWAY. Great news!! Quad screen came back normal. We are so thrilled with that news. The week they make you wait for results is torture!
Two weeks from tomorrow we find out what we are having. Yippee!! That time is flying..
Tonight we have to go get D some new maternity clothes. She popped out over the weekend (adorable) and we really need to get her some more stuff for work. She starts traveling tomorrow, so needs some new things. We've stretched her tops especially about as much as we can.
Things here are just dandy! In fact, I think Dora has started to have a bit of glow!

We had an OB appt today. All things seem to be fine, she found the heartbeat right away. Still right around 150, so the kid is consistent, if nothing else ;-).
D still feels like crap. We learned that her B12 is basically about half of what the LOW side of normal should be. Looking like she'll have to give herself injections to help with that. Also her sugars are all over the map since they've pulled her off her met, so it may be that she's using insulin before much longer as well. Her body is not loving pregnancy, I'll tell you that!!
Next appt is April 7th...which is when we find out what we are having. Yippeee!! Not much longer now :-).
So that's the doodlebug story of the day!

Hi all....
Time for a bitch thread.
So as many of you know I'm never around anymore. Work has me running like I'm in an Olympic sprint of some sort. Granted I wanted this and I wouldn't normally complain....
Except...hell I'm anemic. Doc called yesterday to let me know. Sigh. So this explains the GOD AWFUL exhaustion I've been having... and the constant headaches.... bone wracking cold etc. UGH. I mean I scarcely have enough energy to put on clothes these days.
So I'm on lots of iron now. They'll retest at the next appointment and go from there.
To all my FF buddies... I miss you very very much. I'll be back as soon as I can.

February flew by! Let's hope March does the same, April 7th can't get here soon enough!!!
Our Tuesday appt was cancelled, but D is going to visit the diabetes and preggo specialist that day now. They want to monitor her blood sugar very closely, trying to avoid her developing gestational diabetes.
So our regular OB appt is now March 14th. I'm not impressed with the staff at our OB's office. They are so unresponsive and they cancel appts all the time and then don't reschedule them in a timely manner. Isn't that odd? Especially when one is having testing done (AFP test is happening at the next appt), you can't just not reschedule it asap. We like the OB though, as she's an acquaintance of ours, therefore we'll stick with it. Otherwise I think I would have moved to a new OB.
Getting easier to feel the baby in there, and D is definitely popping out some. She is finally in the process (theoretically anyway) of accepting that she can no longer wear regular clothes!! Maternity pants here she comes ;-).
Speaking of which, I meant to order her some new pants for work. Best do that while I'm thinking about it!
Ciao,
Erin
ps: 6 weeks from today we should know what we are having!!!Comments:Add a comment:
