Wow cant believe how "GROWN UP" Arden is looking. With that striking auburn hair ( all of it! ) she is such a pretty girl! She looks like she has one great personality. You can see the total Character in every face she makes! hehee Too cute!
The pics were beautiful, loved the pumpkin patch ones! She will be riding them horsies soon enuf! ;)
Lots of love from us over here in NH!
Well, well, well, the pumpkin pictures certainly remind me of another little girl I knew growing up. Those facial expressions are uncanny and match the ones that are forever etched in my brain from many years ago. She has grown and changed so much even from the last time I saw her. I am glad the site is being refreshed so I can keep up with my little charmer from 2,800 miles away. I miss seeing her change but at least I can simulate being there by her site. I will try and soak up as much as I can when I come home for Thanksgiving and make it last until the next time. Keep up the updating!
Oh and about the horse, my sympathies to you. I spent a lot of time with Dora and her horse “addiction” so be prepared as this is how it starts. See you all soon and give Arden a BIG kiss from her Nonno!
HI Dora, Erin and Arden,
I can''t belive how big Arden is getting. The pictures of her are so cute. You both are so lucky she is a beautiful little girl. Enjoy every minute. Love, Joy Have a Happy Thanksgiving
Do you remember a year ago, feeling miserable with the labor that just wouldn''t get into running gear? Stipping wallpaper, visiting horses, walking walking walking. All the anxiety about blood sugar, monster babies, and possible induction? Doctor''s appointments, ultrasounds, more doctors appointments...
GO Arden Go! I am sure she will be running around the house in no time! hehee
I wanted to mention that my niece Teryn had terrible ear troubles from birth until she was like 3. My sister at the time was going to a Charopractor who offered to do a small adjustment while they were there which was simple and painless ( I think to her neck) anyway, that was the miracle cure. She never had another ear ache or infection! It may be worth a shot!
Hope you all are well!
Not sure if you two have decided to take the rockstar approach as of late, limiting photos and updates as not to over-expose our little superstar Arden. Enough is enough already. Ive started a petition and already have over 400 certified signatures demanding a more frequently updated doodlebug chronicle. Please take this as your first official warning and take action immediately in order to circumvent pending legal proceedings.
Erin and Dora, Love the pigtails on Arden! She looks so adorable. That baby just keeps getting cuter and cuter! :)
Love the Lucy pictures also! I was just thinking didnt someone return her because they thought she would get SO BIG? hehee Their loss! She is a perfect size, she really does look like she has some Rat Terrier in her, she''s sweet!
Can I copy your most recent post into my blog? I''m not sure I even know how, but I want your permission before I try. You created such an eye-opening analogy and I wish I could speak so eloquently about equality! Very well done!!
Sadly, the first winter in daycare is pretty harsh, sickness wise. In the long run, she won''t get as sick as some of her classmates when she enters preschool or kindergarten, building up her immune system now - but that doesn''t help you feel any better when you have a sad, little bundle you''re trying to comfort :O( Glad she''s doing better!
Well it''s time Nonno signed in and left a few words about my "Batchaglup". Both Grandma and I feel blessed not only at having Arden in our lives but the added joy she brings to each day we see her at our chocolate factory. Despite the all the sweet treats we make, nothing can compare to the sweetness she brings to us each time she smiles and giggles. We marvel at her intellegence and good nature. She makes each trying day a little easier to endure by just being Arden. So my "little bum" as you grow and eventually read these little notes from all the people who visit your site, just know that your Grandma and Nonno think the world of you and love you with all our hearts.
I''ve been reading for a while now - just can''t get enough of little Arden! You three make a beautiful family!
With Daycare- the ''sad dropoff'' is rough. Somehow I was always better with it than my hubby - he''d stay for an hour (all day if they didn''t kick him out). But even now, I have a hard time when my little guy suddenly decides it''s a sad morning - and he''ll be 4 (years) next month. As hard as it is though, often they stop almost right after you leave - I know this because they had windows I could peek in ;o) and I did. If you don''t have windows, can you call from your car to check in?
Hi Dora and Erin, I loved the Christmas card of Arden. AShe looks beautiful in the dress. She is a very lucky little girl to have two Moms that love her so much. I know her grandmothe Mary is having fun with her. Thank you for bring her into this world. Enjoy everyday. May your New Year be a very happy one. Love, Joy
I love the website! I really liked your notes about Christmas day... that was our rule too: "NEVER wake the baby!". :) Even now, we try not to wake Alina, although sometimes we have to wake her up in the morning...
